MARCH/APRIL  2008 NEWSLETTER

Peakfinder Updates
Never having had the pleasure of hiking up the Whirlpool River Valley to the Committee Punch Bowl on Athabasca Pass it has been a pleasure to
receive excellent photos of the mountains in the vicinity of the pass as well as one of the punch bowl itself. This little tarn drains in both directions, its waters flowing to both the Pacific and the Arctic. Thanks again to Gerry Hopkins for the majority of these photos.

If you haven't already, try browsing through our "Finding Passes" section. Here we have over one hundred passes detailed with links to their adjoining mountains. There are photos taken from many of these passes as well.

If you have a favourite mountain photo or any information about the peaks of the Canadian Rockies that you would like included in Peakfinder please contact daveb at peakfinder
dot com.

Please note that all of the previous newsletters have been archived and are available on the site. If you're interested in esoteric lists, unusual mountain names, etcetera, browse through the earlier issues.
